It was generally anticipated that CG would make another run for the title this year. Unfortunately, the demands of CG's schedule doesn't permit him to easily complete his matches. CG felt that it was best for the tournament that he withdraw from competition this year. This allows DNR to advance without further delay to play 'BY', and AJ to advance within his bracket.
Hopefully, CG will have a more flexible schedule next year. It's the tournament's loss to have a competitor leave without competing.
